Monrovia Unified Marks 2018-19 Successes at Wild Rose School

Monrovia families are buzzing about expansions in instructional options at Wild Rose School, including this year’s successful restructuring as a School of Creative Arts and the 2019-20 addition of dual language immersion in Spanish. Spaces in the Spanish language program are already limited and the school is celebrating a partnership with Disney Musicals in Schools that helped bring students to the big stage at Monrovia High School’s Louise K. Taylor Performing Arts Center.

Inglewood Unified Students Inspired During Dodgers STEM Day

A group of 500 third- through fifth-grade students experienced the joys of science through interactive STEM experiments on May 31 during a Science of Baseball STEM Field Day, led by the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) and the Science of Sport organization. Students learned about reaction time, ball trajectory, measuring the strike zone, pitching aerodynamics, and sequencing player’s statistics.
