WHAT: In an annual tradition, Pioneer High School will hold its 52nd Annual Titanette Revue song and dance celebration, themed “Wonderful World of Animation,” to raise funds for the school’s performing arts programs.

The student showcase is a school-wide effort and Pioneer students have worked all year to put together original choreographed routines performed to music from “Aladdin,” “Mary Poppins,” “The Princess and the Frog” and “Dora the Explorer” to name a few.

WHEN: 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 17; 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 18

(The media is invited to a special preview of the theatrical showcase at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15. Wednesday’s preview show, which is not open to the public, will be performed for local elementary and middle school students.)

WHERE: Pioneer High School’s Large Gymnasium, 10800 Benavon St., Whittier

DETAILS: Established in 1963, Titanette Revue is a long-standing Pioneer tradition where students, parents, alumni and friends work countless hours to build sets, props and costumes. Tickets for the evening shows are $10. Cost for the matinee performance is $8. Doors to the gymnasium open 30 minutes before each show.
