WHAT: Inglewood Unified School District is welcoming back students to its campuses with expanded grade offerings and upgraded facilities that provide an enhanced learning environment.

Three of the District’s schools are adding grades and redefining curriculum: Bennett-Kew is now a TK-6 Leadership Academy, Beulah Payne is a P-8 School and Warren Lane Academy of the Arts is now accepting seventh-
graders. The new programs will expose students to successful professionals, cultural field trips and help them develop as young scholars.

In addition, Monroe-Woodworth TK-8 Academy is beginning a second year of its expansion, offering intensive STEM curriculum and facilities upgrades. The improved campus features a new library, a repainted campus and
new playground and field.

City Honors International Preparatory High School is partnering with Cambridge Assessment International Education to become a District-operated charter school beginning this year that will focus on college- and career-
readiness.

The District will also offer increased student support through a new partnership with City Year, a nonprofit that will provide one-on-one tutoring and assist teachers inside the classroom and through after-school programs.
