WHAT: Dozens of actors, sports stars and television personalities will make their way to Lindbergh Elementary where they will read their favorite stories to students as part of the annual Read Across America Day, a nationwide initiative aimed at motivating children and teens to read.

DETAILS: Read Across America Day, which takes place annually on the birthday of the legendary Dr. Seuss, is a project of the National Education Foundation, now celebrating its 18th event. This year, Lindbergh Elementary, annually invites community members and other local guests to campus for the event, is providing students with a different experience – the chance to meet television and sports celebrities.
