Bellflower Students Donned Historical Attire, Personas for Wax Museum Fundraiser
WHAT: Dozens of fifth-graders at Stephen Foster Elementary will dress up as historical characters, populating a “wax museum” that visitors may bring to life by making donations to Pennies for Patients. When activated by a donation, students will take on the attributes of their historical person and share their stories.
WHEN: 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 10
WHERE: Stephen Foster Elementary cafeteria, 5223 E. Bigelow St., Lakewood
WHO: Thirty-plus fifth-grade students will take on the roles of historical characters, complete with period costumes, Principal Deirdre Reyes and social studies teachers will be on hand.
