In an effort to ensure children have access to healthy meals when school is not in session, Azusa Unified School District will offer free lunches this summer to children ages 18 and under as part of the federally funded Summer Food Service program.

Lunches will be served from noon to 12:30 p.m. weekdays from Wednesday, June 8 to Friday, July 8 at Dalton, Gladstone Street, Valleydale and Paramount elementary schools as well as Foothill Middle School. Meals are available to any child residing within Azusa Unified boundaries. Children do not have to be Azusa Unified students to receive free meals.

In addition, lunches for the Azusa community will be available at Azusa High School from noon to 12:30 p.m. weekdays starting Wednesday, June 8 until Friday, July 8 while Gladstone High School will provide lunches during the same time starting Wednesday, June 8 until Wednesday, July 13. Memorial Park and Azusa Public Library will serve community meals from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. weekdays Monday, June 6 to Friday, July 29.
