It is a school-based mobile pediatric clinic that provides free health care services to the uninsured and underinsured children in the Norwalk-La Mirada school district. The professional bilingual staff consists of three licensed pediatric nurse practitioners, and a medical assistant. Once school begins on September 2, Health on Wheels will visit 10  school sites on a weekly rotating schedule throughout the school year.
