WHAT: Sierra Vista High School officials expect 500 students to attend their first-ever college exploration program with The Princeton Review and Roadtrip Nation. The two groups will collaborate to create an event that teaches students and their families how to navigate critical transitions and connect their interests to college and career pathways as part of a Best Fit Colleges and Best Fit Careers Program.

WHEN: 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2

WHERE: Sierra Vista High School gymnasium, 3600 N. Frazier St., Baldwin Park

DETAILS: The event will be hosted by the school’s Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program, which promotes a college-going culture and aids students in developing the skills needed to succeed in college.

The Princeton Review has helped students find the right college for 35 years. The company’s program includes test prep, tutoring and admission counseling. Roadtrip Nation has worked with students for 15 years to discover their ideal careers.
