WHAT: More than 1,000 guests are expected when 200 students will receive certificates in career technical education or diplomas and GEDs at Baldwin Park Adult and Community Education’s annual Vocational and Academic Programs Graduation Ceremony.

WHERE: Baldwin Park High School’s Ted K. Gorrell Stadium, 900 Puente Ave., Baldwin Park
DETAILS: Baldwin Park Adult and Community Education (BPACE) provides instruction for adults seeking their high school diploma, GED or career technical education certification in automotive, electrician, pharmacy technician, medical assistant, barbering, cosmetology, culinary arts and heating, ventilation and air condition (HVAC).
Graduates – including students who have completed programs throughout the last year – will wear colored gowns to reflect their disciplines.
The reception is a BPACE tradition. Culinary arts program vendors sponsor the event and students prepare the food. This year’s theme is Southwest cuisine.
