WHAT: West Covina Unified’s Edgewood Schools invite incoming freshmen and their families to learn about their newest career pathway, the Cisco Networking Academy.

Edgewood will provide an overview and answer questions about the information technology pathway, which will give students the opportunity to work toward a Cisco Certified Network Academy (CCNA) certificate.

DETAILS: The Cisco Network Academy launch in fall 2020 with a 36-student cohort.

It will feature hands-on labs and interactive tools to help students develop critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills, explore network security concepts and experiment with network behavior.

Edgewood Schools are part of the International World Schools of West Covina, which provide a TK-12 International Baccalaureate Continuum. Students from Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside and Orange counties are eligible to enroll in Edgewood Schools.
