Lynwood High Students Visited by Historically Black Colleges
WHAT: Lynwood Unified High School students will have the opportunity to earn on-the-spot acceptance to Historically Black Colleges and Universities when a caravan of HBCU college recruiters and admission counselors visits LUSD campuses.
The Lynwood Unified Equity Department has worked with seniors to ensure they have prepared transcripts and test scores for the caravan, which will include Tuskegee University, Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science and Harris-Stowe State University.

MORE: The event is not limited to African-American students; the colleges and universities participating in the caravan have Initiatives to increase enrollment and matriculation of Latino students at their schools, as well.
Students will have the opportunity to meet one on one with representatives and receive pertinent information about financial aid, student life, admissions, athletics, clubs and more.
