El Monte Union to Celebrate Grand Opening of New Track and Field Facility at El Monte High
WHAT: El Monte Union High School District will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the grand opening of El Monte High School’s newly renovated track and field facility. The upgraded space features a new synthetic track and field, a new scoreboard, and additional site improvements.

DETAILS: The El Monte High School Track and Field Project – funded by Measures D and HS – is part of El Monte Union’s continued commitment to enhancing student learning environments through comprehensive facilities upgrades.
The renovated facility is designed to foster school spirit and promote healthy living by offering space for physical education, athletic events, health and wellness instruction, student performances, and community gatherings.
Local dignitaries, school officials, students, and community members will join the celebration, which will include student performances, complimentary tacos, and light refreshments.
