WHAT: Covina-Valley Unified will host its annual State of the District event, showcasing the District’s innovative programs and opportunities that prepare students for college, careers, and life.

The event, emceed by Interim Superintendent Dr. Jonathan Blackmore, will feature a complimentary breakfast and the premiere of a showcase video celebrating the spirit, excellence, and dynamic offerings of Covina-Valley Unified.

WHEN: 8 a.m., Friday, Nov. 7

WHERE: Dr. Mary Hanes Center
220 W. Puente St. Covina

DETAILS: Check-in and breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. The program will include special remarks from Assemblywoman Blanca Rubio, representing California’s 48th District. Attendees will also enjoy a live performance by the Covina High School jazz band.
