WHAT: Covina-Valley Unified School District will celebrate the opening of Covina High School’s cutting-edge aviation and aerospace career technical education (CTE) classroom, which is designed to provide students with hands-on learning opportunities and real-world experience. The CTE pathway introduces students to the fundamentals of aviation and aerospace while preparing them for future careers in the field.

DETAILS: The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, tours of the classroom, and demonstrations of the pathway’s new high-tech flight simulator. Superintendent Dr. Elizabeth Eminhizer will emcee the ceremony, with remarks from the Board of Education, recognitions from civic and state leaders, and a performance by the Covina High Jazz Band. Light refreshments will be served.
