Bonita High School Students to Provide Tax Services to Community through VITA Program

Bonita High School continues its annual tradition of providing IRS-certified accountants-in-training to help local taxpayers with incomes below $69,000, through its no-cost Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Bonita High’s VITA program has assisted families in filing their tax returns for more than 20 years, hosting monthly Tax Days dedicated to the services, as well as individual appointments throughout tax season. |

DETAILS: |
Taxpayers must bring a valid photo ID and Social Security cards for all individuals on the return; bring all relevant tax forms (e.g., W-2s, 1099s) and supporting documents; and a copy of last year’s returns.
VITA tax services are free, but must be scheduled in advance. To schedule an appointment, call 909-971-8220, or click here to register online.
The final Tax Day is scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, but VITA tax services can be scheduled through Friday, April 10 (site closed from Sunday, March 28 through Monday, April 6), from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Reservations are required.
