Award-Winning Fontana Unified Theatre Program to Conclude 2024-25 Season with ‘Chicago’
WHAT: Henry J. Kaiser High School’s award-winning Kaiser Artistic and Theatrical Society (KATS) program is wrapping up its 2024-25 season with a production of “Chicago.” KATS offers Kaiser High students advanced theatre instruction, preparing them for success in performance and technical roles. Tickets for the performances can be purchased at the door.

DETAILS: In January, KATS was recognized for its excellence for its production of “The Crucible,” tying for third place in Area 2 at the 2024-25 California Educational Theatre Association (CETA) High School Festival. The program took first place at the 2023-24 CETA Festival for its production of William Shakespeare’s “Cymbeline.”
Individually, senior Matthew Davis won an Adjudicator Award, which is considered the CETA Festival’s top honor, for his performance in “The Crucible.” Seniors Michaela Carrillo and Nicole Paez secured Director’s Awards at the CETA Festival for “The Crucible,” as well.
