WHAT:                Fontana Unified School District leaders, students, families, and community partners will celebrate the groundbreaking of a new transitional kindergarten through sixth-grade elementary school, which will become the newest addition to the District’s network of award-winning schools. The 63,000 square foot, single-story campus will expand access to modern learning environments for families in one of the region’s newest and fastest-growing neighborhoods.

The ceremony marks a significant milestone in Fontana Unified’s continued investment in educational opportunities that meet its community’s evolving needs. Anticipated to open fall 2028, the campus will become the District’s second new school to open in two years, following the recent grand opening of Oak Grove Preparatory Academy.

WHERE:              Attendees must park at Oak Grove Preparatory Academy, where bus transportation will be provided to the event site.

DETAILS:             The new campus will serve up to 800 students and will feature a flexible multipurpose and performance space, an innovative learning resource center focused on science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, colorful playground and hard-court areas, and outdoor learning spaces that expand classroom experiences across the campus.

Students enrolled at the new campus will continue their educational journey at Oak Grove Prep for middle school, creating a connected educational pathway for families in Fontana’s growing community.
