WHAT:           Covina High School will bring students, families, and the community together for an afternoon of celebration, fun-filled activities, and connection as it officially dedicates its new Athletics and Aquatics Complex. The event will feature a dedication ceremony and facilities tours, followed by a variety of activities for guests to enjoy, including open swim for kids, an exhibition softball game, a student vs. staff kickball game, music, free food, and more.

DETAILS:   The new Covina High School Athletics and Aquatics Complex provides student-athletes with expanded opportunities to compete, practice, and succeed. The complex features new baseball and softball fields, track and field equipment, batting cages, futsal, volleyball, basketball, and pickleball courts, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, restrooms, a snack bar, and more.

The $22 million project was funded through multiple sources, including Measure CC bond funds; a federal grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, sponsored by Congresswoman Grace Napolitano; and Community Redevelopment funds and Developer fees.
