WHAT: Covina-Valley Unified School District will kick off the 2025-26 school year with its annual Welcome Back Convocation, bringing together teachers, staff, and administrators for a morning of celebration, connection, and inspiration. The event will include a dynamic keynote speaker, team-building activities, and uplifting messages to set a positive tone for the year ahead.

DETAILS: The morning will begin with a Health and Wellness Fair at 7 a.m., offering District employees access to helpful resources from local vendors and a complimentary breakfast. The main program will begin at 8:30 a.m., featuring video tributes and recognitions of Covina-Valley Unified’s 2025 Teacher, Classified Employee, and Volunteer of the Year. Interim Superintendent Dr. Jonathan Blackmore will emcee the event, energizing and uniting the Covina-Valley Unified community for a strong start to the new school year.
