WHAT: Covina-Valley Unified School District will welcome students and families back to its annual Back-to-School Extravaganza, continuing its tradition of providing students with free backpacks and school supplies for the upcoming school year.

WHEN: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 12

WHERE: Covina-Valley Health and Wellness Center
4555 N. Lark Ellen Ave., Covina

DETAILS: The Back-to-School Extravaganza will feature a free pancake breakfast, complimentary haircuts from Covina-Valley Unified cosmetology students, and access to vital health and wellness resources. Families can take advantage of free health screenings, mental health support, and more – offered by the District’s dedicated team of counselors, social workers, and nurses.

The C-VUSD Health and Wellness Center and Family Resource Room serve as a comprehensive hub for student and family support, providing year-round access to essential services led by the District’s Health and Student Services Department.
