WHAT: Students in the Fontana Unified Theatre Conservatory will perform in the California Theatre of the Performing Arts’ upcoming showcase of “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.” The FUSD Theatre Conservatory partners with Theatrical Arts International Foundation Inc. to provide students with the opportunity to showcase their talents and gain real-world stage experience in a professional production. DETAILS: Fontana Unified’s Theatre Conservatory is part of the District’s career technical education programming that provides students with an opportunity to work with professionals in theatre and gain firsthand experience in the industry. Through this program, students build their portfolios and explore careers in the performing arts.

The District theatre program made history as one of the first high school theatre programs in the country to secure the rights to “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: High School Edition,” which ran between Jan. 27 and Feb. 2.
