WHAT: After 70 years of serving the Baldwin Park High School community, a full renovation is scheduled for the school’s gymnasium. Baldwin Park Unified will host a groundbreaking ceremony at Baldwin Park High School to mark the beginning of construction.

As part of a larger celebration, community members and alumni are invited to reminisce, share their memories and say goodbye to the historic gym.

WHEN: Wednesday, July 13
2 to 8 p.m.: Alumni and community gathering

4:30 p.m.: Groundbreaking ceremony

WHERE: 3900 N. Puente Ave., Baldwin Park, CA 91706

DETAILS: Construction is expected to be completed in fall 2024. This is one of the first projects to be funded under Measure AE, a bond approved by voters in 2018.
