WHAT: Baldwin Park Unified is partnering with the City of Baldwin Park during the season of giving to collect donations for the 24th annual Santa Clothes Project, which will provide 416 K-12 students with winter clothes.

Volunteer shoppers will be matched with Baldwin Park Unified students, and will receive information that includes their name, grade, clothes and shoe size, to help them put together a winter wardrobe using a $80 prepaid shopping card.

Students will be selected based on family financial need.

WHEN: 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7

WHERE: Wal-Mart Store, 3250 Big Dalton Ave., Baldwin Park, 91706

DETAILS: BPUSD and the City of Baldwin Park are accepting donations for those who wish to help students and their families during the holiday season. Donations of any amount will be accepted through Friday, Dec. 3. Check donations can be made payable to the Baldwin Park Charitable Relief Foundation, and can be turned in to District School Community Liaison Maria Guevara.
