WHAT:
Lynwood Unified is welcoming back approximately 14,000 students to campuses with improved facilities and new
programs for the 2019-20 school year.

The District has launched a Mental Health Project that will provide occupational therapy and assessments to students and their families. The program is funded by a $45,000 grant from the Kaiser Permanente Downey Medical Center that will allow Lynwood Unified to better serve all students.

In the classroom, the District will offer 1:1 technology and update tech programs through its partnership with the League of Innovative Schools, a national coalition of K-12 school districts that work together to inspire students through technology education.

This fall, Lynwood Unified will unveil a new athletic field as the District works to equip students with the best tools for success in classrooms and across campuses.
