WHAT: Rio Hondo College will partner with the Office of Assembly Majority Leader Ian C. Calderon to host a Cash 4 College financial aid overview and a financial aid application lab for students and their families, including free assistance with the 2019-20 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and California Dream Act application.

The event will include an opportunity drawing for a scholarship.

WHEN: Saturday, Feb. 2, Overview: 10 a.m., Financial aid application lab: 11 a.m.

WHERE: Rio Hondo College Rio Café, 3600 Workman Mill Road, Whittier

DETAILS: Those attending should bring the following documents, as appropriate to their individual situation: driver’s license, social security number, alien registration number, individual taxpayer identification number, 2017 income information (including tax forms, W-2 and bank statements), and a list of colleges that students are interested in attending.

Parking for the workshop is free.
