Montebello Unified students and staff recently held their quarterly blood drive in conjunction with a lemonade stand to raise funds for childhood cancer research. The school community pulled together for the cause after Vail High ASB Adviser Gloria Olivares lost her 5-year-old granddaughter to Leukemia in April. The Lemonade Stand will become a quarterly tradition, with the next one being held in November. Photos of the event are available.
