Rotary Club Takes 50 Bellflower Unified Students on Shopping Spree
WHAT: Fifty underprivileged students will receive up to $100 each to buy school clothes and shoes during the Rotary Club of Bellflower’s annual Back to School Shopping Spree.
The Rotary Club works with Caring Connections, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping meet the needs of children and families in the Bellflower Unified School District, to select students for the event. Funding for the event is provided by the Bellflower Rotary Foundation.
WHEN: 7 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19
WHERE: Bellflower Kmart, 10400 Rosecrans Ave., Bellflower
WHO: Rotary Club members will assist students in selecting clothes for school.
MEDIA: Media is welcome to attend.
