WHAT: Montebello Unified has partnered with Family Health Care Centers of Greater Los Angeles (FHCCGLA) to provide a comprehensive school-based health center at Bell Gardens High School that will offer affordable health care services to students, their families and community members. A ribbon-cutting event will celebrate the grand opening of the facility on Tuesday, Sept. 15.

With $500,000 in funding, the FHCCGLA chose Bell Gardens High to develop its first school-based health center that will feature six examination rooms, clinical laboratory, behavioral health counseling, health education room, and 16-seat waiting room in two renovated portable classrooms.
