BALDWIN PARK – Kaiser Permanente Medical Center of Baldwin Park is collaborating with the Baldwin Park Unified School District for its annual holiday season Adopt-a-Family program.

This year, the Medical Center’s Leadership Administration team and 11 departments will adopt 13 families from Baldwin Park and Sierra Vista high schools. Each family will receive personalized gifts, including clothing, shoes, toys and educational items from a wish list.

The doctors, nurses and staff will purchase the items for their adopted families. Each family will be invited to the respective department at the Kaiser Medical Center in Baldwin Park for a breakfast where they will be presented with their holiday gifts.

Kaiser Leadership Administration has planned its breakfast for 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15 in the Kaiser Administration Conference Room.

The Baldwin Park Unified School District Board of Education, Superintendent Froilan N. Mendoza, Baldwin Park Principal Anthony Ippolito, Sierra Vista Principal Christine L. Simmons and representatives from the Baldwin Park Adult and Community Education Center will welcome the adopted family to the breakfast.

The other participating departments include Home Care, Urgent Care, Infusion Center, EVS, Call Center, Neurology, ER, Laboratory, General Surgery, Health Connect & IT. Dates and times are pending for these department breakfast events.
