WHITTIER – Whittier Union High School District will launch a redesigned website on Friday, June 30, providing students, parents, staff, alumni and school community members with simplified access to resources and information.

The new district website and individual school homepages will feature a contemporary aesthetic and efficient access to news and announcements, a calendar of events, school activities, programs and services and other resources.

“We are always actively finding ways to inform our community of the programs and services we provide to our students, whether that’s through social media or newsletters,” Superintendent Martin Plourde said. “By streamlining our website, we are continuing our ongoing commitment to provide pertinent information and increase parent and community engagement.”

The revamped district and school homepages will be accessible on tablets and mobile phones to further strengthen convenience for users.

A translation button will be available on the District’s page, allowing visitors to translate the website content into a variety of languages using Google Translate.

The District partnered with Edlio, a leading school and district website developer, to enhance the online experience and to bring features and tools that matter most to community stakeholders.
