WHAT: Rio Hondo College will mark Undocumented Student Week of Action with daily programs aimed at assisting undocumented scholars secure a college education, connect with other students and advocate for a permanent solution for undocumented students brought to the country as children.

Students will be encouraged to use social media to share with legislators why undocumented students are an important part of the community.

11 a.m.
The First Year Success Center (FYSC)/Dream Center will host a webinar to help undocumented scholars fill out the California Dream Act application and provide information on other resources.

Tuesday, Oct. 16

Students will be encouraged to get families and friends to sign postcards advocating for DACA students.

FYSC/Dream Center will host a “Know Your Rights” webinar.
