FONTANA, CA – Fontana Unified School District will premiere sleek new websites for the District and each of its schools in 2019-20, providing families and community members with easy access to information through a user-friendly format.

The District website is the first to switch to the modern layout and will launch on Sept. 3. Websites for Fontana Unified’s 45 schools will roll out in the following months.

“Fontana Unified provides a comprehensive educational experience, and it is vital that we showcase the achievements of our students, teachers, staff and programs for our families and community,” Fontana Unified Superintendent Randal S. Bassett said. “Our new websites will ensure that every parent has access to essential information regarding their child’s education and can experience all that Fontana Unified has to offer.”

The sites were created through a partnership with education website developer Blackboard and feature responsive designs that are optimized for mobile viewing.

The District and school websites will make it easier to access essential information for enrollment, Board of Education meeting livestreams, news stories and District and school calendars. The websites are designed to be student-centered, placing information for and about students front and center.

A translation button at the top of the site will allow parents to select the language they wish to use when viewing the site.
