WHAT: Fontana Unified School District will hold a tour of Dorothy Grant Elementary – one of its Code to the Future computer science immersion schools – for local elected officials and school superintendents.

Fontana Unified Superintendent Randal S. Bassett and community members will kick off the event; a student-led keynote speech will follow.

School superintendents and guests will visit classrooms and learn how computer science is integrated into daily instruction at each grade level.

WHEN: Monday, Dec. 3 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

WHERE: Dorothy Grant Elementary, 7069, Isabel Lane, Fontana

DETAILS: Dorothy Grant Elementary is one of two Fontana Unified schools to launch the immersive computer science curricula in 2018, and one of the first Code to the Future elementary schools in the Inland Empire.

After the tour, guests are invited to debrief with Code to the Future staff over lunch.
