WHAT: Lynwood Unified and JWCH Institute are set to celebrate the grand opening of the Wesley Health Center on the Lynwood Middle School campus, where students, families and the community can receive free primary care and family planning services.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place to mark the occasion, featuring special guest speaker Los Angeles County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas.

WHERE: Wesley Health Center at Lynwood Middle School, 12124 Bullis Rd., Lynwood

ABOUT: As part of Lynwood Unified’s robust health collaborative, the center also offers referrals to more than 30 participating organizations for specialized mental health, dental, counseling and other services.

Lynwood Unified students and their families are encouraged to seek guidance and care from the center and the health collaborative partner organizations, ensuring all students stay healthy and perform their best in class.

The JWCH Institute is a private nonprofit health agency that works to improve the health and wellness of underserved populations within Los Angeles County.
