Revitalized Fontana Unified Elementary Commemorates 70th Anniversary

Fontana Unified Elementary to Celebrate 70th Anniversary, School Makeover

WHAT: West Randall Elementary School will host a fall festival to celebrate the school’s 70th anniversary and reveal campus beautification provided by United Way volunteers and Hillside Community Church volunteers.

Fontana Unified parents, staff and alumni are invited to tour the revitalized campus and enjoy music and refreshments. The festival will feature activities for all ages, including face painting, balloon animals, games and student performances.

WHEN: Wednesday, Nov. 15
1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

DETAILS: West Randall Elementary, which opened in 1947, is the first of two Fontana Unified schools to receive a school makeover this year that was organized through United Way and funded by Hillside Community Church.

Volunteers brightened up the campus exterior, multipurpose room and library with seven murals, representing the city of Fontana, college logos, the West Randall mascot and other school-friendly visuals.
