WHAT: Baldwin Park Unified will participate in the city’s 34th annual National Night Out community anti-crime program, which will feature a 1.5-mile march from Baldwin Park City Hall to the Target Center, followed by a community celebration.

DETAILS: National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police- community partnerships, raises crime and drug prevention awareness, and promotes safety and neighborhood unity. National Night Out provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

In Baldwin Park, community members will gather at City Hall and march to the Target Center, 3100 Baldwin Park Blvd., Baldwin Park. Once at Target, they will socialize, visit service booths and enjoy food and prize giveaways.

Baldwin Park Unified invites community members to join in the march, which is sponsored by the Baldwin Park Police Department and Baldwin Park Police Association. Eighteen District partners provided supplies or other donations to equip backpacks that will be distributed during the event.
