WHAT: Baldwin Park Unified will hold a trio of Family Science Nights that explore the formation and evolution of massive star clusters. The events will be hosted by Dr. Matthew S. Povich, an associate professor at Cal Poly Pomona’s Astronomy and Astrophysics Department.

Povich and his team will demonstrate use of telescopes to examine the clusters and their associations in our Milky Way Galaxy.

WHEN: 6 to 7 p.m.: Back-to-back presentations in English and Spanish
7 to 8:30 p.m.: Guided tour of the night sky from school campus
